If you’ve been cooking your food with regular water, hang your head in shame. All the cool chefs are using culinary sea water! Acquamara, according to their web page, is “Hebridean seawater for culinary use harvested from pure clean Atlantic waters.”

They suggest you use it to poach seafood or to make things like Oceanic Oatcakes. (Obviously named by people who didn’t watch “Lost.” Acquamara claims their product is part of the eating local trend, which doesn’t really explain why they are shipping water all over the world—then again, we seem to have spilled something in our American waters recently that makes them less appetizing.
